Honestly, we picked Sanaa because so many people suggested it, not because we saw anything we really liked. We were very pleasantly surprised at our experience. Bread Service: A must do. The different dips/accompaniments may be a bit overwhelming at first, but as you get into it, out of the 9, there were only 1 or 2 that I didn't care as much for. They were awesome. Each naan type, each dip was so good. For dinner, my wife and I were so full from the bread service (and a big lunch 5 hours prior), so we opted for a journey/harvest mix of butter chicken and chickpea wat, but we were able to add an additional lamb journey for like $7 which was totally worth it. They just didn't provide but one rice in exchange (and it wasn't much rice to begin with). We opted for the Wildebeest dessert which was a flourless chocolate cake with mousse on top. Very excellent. I also felt that we got good value for the money. We left happy and full and with a bit of a unique experience.

What fun exploring new foods from date away countries! The bread service is a great way to start with different kinds of bread and more dips than you can keep straight. The braised beef was the star of the show. So, so good! If you'd like to try multiple things I recommending sharing or splitting dishes.

Overall, this was an average to slightly above average experience. The Giraffe Mousse dessert was exceptional. The array of breads and sauces was good. The advertised appetizer salad (Salad Sanaa) listed many ingredients on the menu but lacked most of them in sufficient quantities to make the salad memorable. It was basically just arugula with a little dressing and a few toppings. The vegan option our friend had was very good. The service was very good, but for the price, JIKO is a better option in my opinion. It’s better for going out on a date. It’s quieter than this restaurant, which is much noisier and filled with kids with tables close together.

We stayed at another hotel and came here for the restaurant experience and seeing the animals. You get to experience the hotel lobby that is gorgeous, and you have a look out to see some animals, we saw zebras, giraffes, and more! The food menu is different so if you come with picky eaters they won’t have any nuggets or hamburgers options, the food was delicious & the ambience was amazing. Great way to see another resort without staying here.

This was the first restaurant I tried while staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and after doing a lot of research, I was really looking forward to it. I understand the menu is heavily Indian and African inspired, which made it a little outside my normal comfort zone, but overall it was a good experience. The naan bread absolutely lived up to the hype. Definitely worth ordering. It was so good I brought leftovers back to my room and reheated it the next day. I ordered the flat iron steak. For someone who prefers medium and not fatty cuts of meat, it was okay. Mine leaned a little more rare and chewier than I personally like even though I requested medium, but the flavors were still good. The service was really good throughout the meal. My only downside was the noise level. Staying at Kidani Village, I expected a slightly quieter and more relaxed atmosphere, but it was louder than I anticipated. I also really wanted to try the Giraffe Tower Mousse dessert everyone talks about, but because I still had leftovers and ended up packing part of my meal to go, dessert never came up. Slightly bummed because I absolutely would have taken that to go too.
